The appearance and shape of your feces says a lot about your health. You can find out fast and easily what is really wrong with your body

People don’t talk about this topic usually and to many of us it can be uncomfotable just to read about it. But the truth is that it is very important to talk about these things because they are about our health. We are talking about feces – the shape, consistency, colour and other things. Altough it might not be pleasant it is appropriate to check the state of your feces every time and deal with sudden changes.

Feces can be characterized by different colour, shape, consistency and smell and every single one of these characteristics means something. Then how should a normal feces look? In this case there is nothing as a standard for what is considered normal and common. It matters for example on what the food is made out of, age of the person, overal health condition and so on.

Shape is the best lead

Usually you can know any kind of changes based on the feces shape. Doctors recognize some of the most common types. The first type is hard and clearly separated feces similar to the ones from goats. Those are considered to be a symptom of constipation therefore a starting problem.

If you feces is soft but solid with a fine structure or smooth surface it can be considered healthy and normal. The shape, size and colour again depends on a lot of other factors.

Other extreme is individual watery feces or feces that reminds of porridge. That is diarrhea that should definitely be dealt with, it isn’t a normal state. With diarrhea you can get dehydrated and that should not be taken lightly.

Colour also hints

Trouble can also be shown by colour. If the feces is standardly brown, everything is alright. You should however watchout if the color gets darker – it can contain blood. It can also be the result of a stomach ulcer or a high amount of iron. And what does white feces say? It usually shows liver disease such as hepatitis and cirrhosis.
